In summer 2020 God gave us a vision to provide a high achieving student from an under-served community with a college scholarship. It's through the scholarship application process we met Khadajah Kimbrough, who is one of the most inspirational young people we have had the privilege of working with.
Khadajah was salutatorian of Melrose High School's class of 2020 and she's currently majoring in Biology at Rust College, an HBCU in Holly Springs, Miss. Her choice of major is a stepping stone for her ultimate goal of becoming a pediatrician and providing quality health care in her home community of Orange Mound.
It's a blessing for My Town Miracles that we get to come alongside Khadajah on her journey and we thank the donors who make it all possible. We also thank RedZone Ministrires, which serves youth in Orange Mound, for partnering with us in the endeavor to recognize an exceptional scholar.
